What’s your after-comics plan?

Reality-check: the overwhelming bulk of us will not be able to make a living off of creating comics, and as healthcare gets better, we’re living longer than ever. The likelihood of you as an individual being relevant to comics in 5 years is slim—if you’re ever there at all. So you have to have a plan for when you stop making comics. Eventually, we’re all going to stop making comics, for one reason or another.

So, what’s your after-comics plan? What’s your plan to make a living after you’ve gotten off the comics rollercoaster?

If you haven’t thought about it, now is the time. We aren’t getting any younger.
