A Sad Time For DC

Oh, look. DC is headed off in yet another new direction.

I’m not surprised. And I won’t be buying it. Convergence was the last straw, and with no real leadership, they’re trying anything and everything to see if it sticks.

No, I’m not calling for anyone’s heads. Jobs in comics are hard to come by. But there needs to be someone who’s willing to stand up and say No, we’re going to see this through.

The purported new direction is to take their universe and make it more closely match their burgeoning cinematic universe. It will be undone in about 3-5 years, and then another new direction will be had.

It’s no longer funny. It’s not even shameful. It’s actually just sad.

It’s a sad time for DC.
