Honesty is always the best policy.

It’s been said that I’m harsh because I don’t sugar-coat what I see as the truth. Bad is bad, and I say it without qualms. When pussyfooting around, the message can get lost. People hear what they want to hear. In not saying what needs to be said, the door to confusion then gets opened. I decline to let the message be lost, so I get labeled as harsh. I can live with it.

Always strive to get the truth. You can only get better because of it.
