Moving Boxes

The thing that sucks about collecting comics?

Longboxes.

Know what sucks about longboxes? Having damned near 40 of them.

The problem isn’t having tons of comics. The problem is moving the damned things. In Tucson, where I live, the problem is keeping them in an environment that won’t hurt them, when you’re something of a gypsy. (Lots of moves in and around town. Honestly, in the 10 years we’ve been together, we’ve moved quite a few times.

So I’ve got some damaged comics. Rain, heat, and sun. Not a lot, but enough. I have to replace some boxes, I have to get some bags and boards…and I have to replace some comics. The comics won’t be that difficult. Maybe a little expensive here and there, but not difficult.

It isn’t something I’m looking forward to.

Remember this: keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and your comics closest!
