Vision

Every creator has one, but quite often, that vision is cloudy.

The reason that a creator’s vision is often cloudy is because they don’t have a plan. They say they want to do something, but then they don’t have anything even close to resembling a plan to bring that vision to life. And it happens time and again.

When you have a vision, you really need to have two things: a plan, and belief in yourself.

Not in the vision. In yourself.

Your vision is only going to come to pass if you put in the work to bring it about. It starts out as a statement at first, but the more you work at it, the more it will refine itself, until you’re able to articulate exactly what it is you want to do. It’s like not knowing you need glasses until you go to the optometrist. Then you get your eyes checked, and, if necessary, you leave with a pair of glasses.

Your vision is shared by lots of people. It’s only after the vision has been refined and come into focus that we know what it is we really want.

What’s your vision?
